Peer Light is a conversation series created by CFI in 2026.
We built this storytelling platform around CFI’s mission and mantra: “Nothing about us without us.”
Over the course of 6 months, staff members participated in Peer Light conversations, where they developed the questions they wanted to ask each other and the questions they wanted to be asked themselves. In this first iteration, you’ll get to hear from CFI staff members on what it means to live “independently,” misconceptions that the general public has about those living with disabilities, and how different people learn best. Oh, and you’ll also get to hear what questions they wish people would stop asking them, as well as what question they wish others would ask themselves. See some of the features and words below.
