With Gratitude to the Marysville Community and a Continued Commitment to the North Sound

To Our Valued Participants, Partners, Supporters, and Community Members,

For many years, our Marysville office has been more than a workplace, it has been a place where relationships were built, advocacy took root, and community flourished. As we close this chapter, we are deeply grateful for everyone who has been part of our journey, and we look forward to building new partnerships, strengthening existing connections, and continuing our mission throughout the North Sound region.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to the City of Marysville, our community partners, participants, advocates, and supporters for your trust, collaboration, and unwavering support over the years. It has been an honor to serve alongside such a caring and dedicated community.

While our Marysville office has officially closed, our commitment to the North Sound remains as strong as ever. This is not a goodbye.

Thanks to significant investments in technology and service delivery infrastructure, Center for Independence is better positioned than ever to connect with and support individuals with disabilities through a combination of virtual services, community-based outreach, satellite locations, and in-person engagement. These enhancements expand access, increase flexibility, and allow us to reach more people while continuing to provide the high-quality independent living services on which our communities depend.

We remain fully operational throughout the North Sound and are actively exploring new satellite locations and community-based spaces that will strengthen our presence and accessibility across the region. In the meantime, participants, families, and partners can continue to access our advocacy, peer support, independent living services, information and referral, skills training, and community resources without interruption.

Although our physical presence in Marysville has changed, our commitment to the community remains steadfast. We are excited about the opportunities ahead and look forward to sharing updates as we continue expanding innovative and accessible ways to connect with and serve our communities.

Thank you, Marysville. We are deeply grateful for the opportunity to have been part of this community, and we look forward to serving the North Sound for many years to come.
